Thorney Running Club

I have had to drop out of our B Team due to a bad cough/cold

I have been replaced by Reg Allen (dob 10/01/56) - he is doing leg 1 and Peter Ward is now leg 2

Our 3 teams are now, in stage order, are:

Thorney A: S Strickland, C Northern, C Pycroft, E Dorling

Thorney B: Reg Allen, Peter Ward, I Ward, M Louth

Thorney C: M Blackledge, R Sharpe, M Curtis, J Freiberg

Bryan Goodenough has had to drop out due to injury and his wife is coming out of hospital next weekend after a lengthy stay and operation

Times Leg 1 - Peterborough Cathedral (6 miles)- start at 9.00am so be there by 8.45

Leg 2 - Manor Leisure Centre, Whittlesey(12 miles) - takeover at 9.45 approx so be there by 9.30 (parking will be impossible so allow time)

Leg 3 - George Campbell Leisure Centre, March (11 miles) - takeover at 11 - 11.15, so be there by 10.45

Leg 4 - Welney Village Hall (10 miles)- takeover between 12 and 1 - by this time team A will be along way ahead !!!

It is impossible to be sure about the times as much of the route is cross country and if its wet it will be slow

So please bring warm clothing as there will be somebody on hand to give it to:

Dave has kindly agreed to take runners from leg 1 back to Peterborough

Keith and Joanne can take runners from Whittlesey to March

Mark Louth will bring runners back from Ely

Flooding

The Welney wash is currently flooded as far as I know - if it is still flooded on Sunday the 4th leg comes back to March from Welney.
