In short: Exposure to wind slowed me down a lot in the latter stages so
a disppointing time but excellent organisation and support with friendly runners
and organisers with beautiful weather made the trip out to a new run really
worthwhile.
In short: well organised all round. well done thorney.
In full: can we run the other way round next year so we get back wind and
not head wind in the latter stages?
think i was the only person not to run a pb.
but i liked the cap, but not good for wearing in the wind.
In short: Good PB material - very flat - one section of farm track and
exposure to wind is all that might slow you down

In full: V open course, so we were lucky with the weather. Liked the
course layout, with the short 'contra running' sections, and a nice off-road bit
but with very good footing. Made to feel welcome at all points, and a lovely
cuppa and a roll - well done ladies!!
This is so much more fun than some of the 'cliquey' races where independents are
treated more as a nuisance. Thoroughly recommended!! Thank you for a nice
morning
In short: Loved it but times on my garmin and my watch did not match
yours...mine was faster.
In full: loved it we had a glorious sunny day, ifit was peeing down it
would have been a different story all together...and the drive home on sat nav
set for cyclists took us home through the most stunning villages as we headed
back to nottingham, would defo do it again...
In short: It was my first race and we had a great time.

In full: From the organisation at the car park to the marshalling of the
course this was an excellent event. It was a shame the wind was so sotrong. This
course has PB potential!

In full: Fast, flat course, so good for pb's - although the wind can take
back a bit of this time because it is quite exposed. A highly recommended race,
extremely well organised - even a car with a giant clock on the roof driving out
in front. Great value at the price. Many thanks to the many marshals and
organisers who took such obvious pride in putting on this excellent event. Thank
you and well done!

In full: Excellent local 10k, well organised and supported. Course is
dead flat but open to the elements, so when the Fen winds blows, you know about
it!

In short: My 2nd 10k - very friendly - thanks to locals for staying out
to cheer on slowies like me near the back
In short: Flat as a pancake, so great for PB attempts but not the most
interesting of routes
In full: Great organisation and well marshalled. Open to any prevailing
winds but with a max height difference of 15ft across the whole course you can
go for a PB. Goody bag slightly disappointing but given low entry fee,
acceptable.
In short: Most enjoyable. Only my 2nd ever 10km run. PB!!!! Well organised.
